Does Godwin’s Law apply in real life?

Anti-choice activists have been using Nazi comparisons for years.

Gah.

The binary view (warning: long)

Mixed messages, or just batshit insane?

With the 33rd anniversary of Roe v Wade has come the crazy:

Nellie Gray, the president of March for Life, the group that organized the rally, said reversing Roe was this year’s theme. Speaking to the crowd in fiery tones, Ms. Gray predicted that the United States would hold the equivalent of Nuremburg trials for “feminist abortionists,” calling support for a woman’s right to choose “crimes against humanity.”

Alito’s probable ascension to the Supreme Court makes interesting times ahead for the US. With the declaration of ‘National Sanctity of Human Life Day‘, the President has laid his cards on the table.

Yay!

‘Ugg’ is no longer a trademark in Australia. A representative from Deckers, the American corporation who bought the trademark and sent out ‘cease and desist’ letters to manufacturers using the GENERIC name for their godawfulugly boots, was reported as saying today that the company were responsible for making the boots into a high fashion item and should, therefore, be allowed to retain the rights.

Should, therefore, be charged with crimes against fashion and humanity.

The case for retaining the trademark internationally rested on the fact that ‘Ugg’ was registered as a trademark in Australia - with this no longer the case Australian manfucturers should soon, hopefully, be selling their ugg boots to whoever wants to be nice and toasty warm inside the house, and GODAWFULFREAKINUGLY outside the house, anywhere in the world.

Just so you know, ugg boots look particularly ugly and stupid when it’s raining and they’re satched. People of London, please take note.

The forgotten heritage of the forgotten people

If all these people are the descendants of David through Judah, how come their relatives in Africa aren’t? Only people who were slaves can trace this lineage through Africa to Israel?

And why don’t these guys and these guys realise their dream of a black Israelite homeland and join their brethren in Israel? Don’t be greedy - there are plenty of diverse people sharing the Israeli homeland already, I’m sure they can squish in a few more. You all seem reasonably peaceful, and you all want more children of Judah. Share.

Israeli Church of Universal Practical Knowledge

These guys, on the other hand, are scary - in Louis Theroux’s Weird Weekends: Black Nationalists (1999) they gave us the writing on the wall - the (big, buff) Black Jesus was going to return to have his horse stomp all over the (skinny, decrepit) white devil…but it was gonna happen before the year 2000. Heh. Wonder what they’re preaching now?
